In addition to 100% UV protection, Reptile lenses also provide HEV (High Energy Visible) light protection which, according to scientific studies, have linked damage to the Retina from HEV light exposure to the development of AMD Age Related Macular Degeneration.

Our proprietary Titanium coating makes the lenses tougher and more scratch resistant while providing added protection from direct sunlight glare throughout the lens. (this titanium coating is superior to the typical silver oxide mirror coating that is traditionally used).

Unlike most brands that use two white lenses to sandwich the polarizing film, Reptile utilizes a special tinted glass lens in front of the film which provides the high definition effect that Reptile Lenses are known for.
