Computer Reading Glasses
Calabria’s PC Optics collection offers the following features to combat eyestrain and fatigue caused by extended viewing of computer monitors.
1) High quality CR39 lenses: Special grade optical quality lenses offer the finest clarity of all lens materials.
2) Anti-Reflective Coating: The term ‘glare’ when associated with using the computer actually means the intensity of the surrounding light that is higher than that of the computer, which causes visual noise and affects the ability of the eyes to focus properly on the monitor. Calabria PC Optics reading glasses have an anti-glare coating on their lenses that reduces this visual noise, resulting in a more comfortable viewing experience.
3) Melanin Tinted Lenses: Melanin is a substance that we have in our skin, which protects the underlying tissues of the skin from damage by absorbing the light from the sun. The melanin that is used in Our PC Optics reading glasses works on the same principle, by absorbing the light given off by the computer monitor as well as the surrounding light. Actually, it helps to reduce the violet and blue light from fluorescent light and the computer monitor, which have the ability of causing damage to our eyes.
