I ordered these glasses in the hopes of helping my mother who is suffering with low vision due to macular degeneration. The entire experience with Speert was positive from cost, to ease of ordering to shipping notifications and delivery. Unfortunately, the glasses did not work for my mother and are non-refundable so I will donate them to the Vietnam Veteran's of America (VVA).
I do minute detail work - mandela rock painting, resin work - and 3.0 or even 3.5 glasses just don't cut it. I never even thought these types of glasses/magnification was possible. This is my 4th pair - whoops, resin got all over 2 pairs! LOVE THEM!
Returning for a replacement pair.
My 99-year-old dad lost the capability of reading as his eyesight worsened. I found these glasses with a magnification of 7, and he can now comfortably read again, a real blessing! (Using a magnifying glass was not possible with his poor coordination) These were the ONLY power 7 lenses I could find anywhere. And very comfortable frames. A big thumbs up!
I have purchased glasses from Speert two times now and was pleased with the service and quality of product both times mi am in Canada and needed readers that are stronger than the usual ones available from the drugstores etc. These really help me to read tiny labels and look good doing so.
