Hemingway Reading Glasses
This is my second pair of Hemingway 4662’s. Both were manufactured in China, but the new pair is significantly different. The weight of the new ones are much lighter, and the paddles aren’t aligned correctly. They are too wide out of the box, and they squeak when I open and close the paddles. I’ll be taking them to lens crafters to see if they can correct the fit. The lighter weight makes them look and feel a lot cheaper than my original ones. I did get these at a lower price, so I suppose the price difference reflects on the cheaper built product. I’ve been buying Hemingway readers for years, but will now keep my eyes open for a better quality replacement. This review in no way reflects on Speert. Speert, is still a fantastic company.
